Thankful Thursday!
Today I am so very thankful for my very special, intelligent, kind, thoughtful, sometimes very ornery hubby Ryan. For those of you who who know him, you know what I mean.
Today is his birthday, and I just want to honor him by saying what a great husband he is to me, and what a great daddy he is to our babies.
For the past 12 years I have experienced his laughter,(pranks), kindness, gentleness, and patience. I know that God made him just for me:) And I thank Him so much for that.
Happy Birthday Ryan!!! I love you so very much:):)

Family Game Night
Since we have moved to Denver it has taken a while to get adjusted to a new normal. I think that we are finally getting there.
We recently reinstated our weekly family game night. It is one night per week that we reserve to play games as a family. No T.V. (unless it is the wii sports games).
It is a great time to just talk and have fun with each other. It brings out our inner competitive side, while giving opportunities to teach life lessons. I recommend it to any family who does not do it already. Even Sean has been getting in on the action!

Rapunzel Lost Her Locks to Love
We all know the timeless tale of the beautiful princess who lost her magnificent head of hair all for love.
Here is a true tale of a beautiful princess who also lost her locks to love!
My oldest daughter Felicity who is 10 years old has always had lovely long gorgeous hair. Recently she decided all on her own that she wanted to cut it all off. Not just for a new style, but because she wanted to donate it to the charity Locks of Love. (If you are unfamiliar with them, they make wigs for cancer patients.) I was so very proud of her to come up with it all on her own.
So off to the beauty shop we went. The rest is a fairytale.
Here are the beautiful braids before they disappear. The washing Bye Bye lovely locks Here is our sweet princess after loosing her locks to love:)

Night at the Museum
So it more like morning at the museum, and none of the exhibits tried to kill us or anything. However it was a lot of fun!
Two weeks ago my wonderful friends Kim, Marylin, and Ashley came to Denver from Durango. We had some good times together. First there was shopping and getting lost. (Don't ask unless you really want to know) Then a trip to the Denver museum of Nature and Science. Everyone had a great time. Felicity and Caitlyn posing in front of the dinosaur bones.
My little man and his mama:)

Will you trust me?
The past few weeks have been crazy busy for us. I have a lot to write about, but I can't fit it all in one post.
So rewind a couple of weeks to April 26th. On this day I turned the big 30.
Yes friends, I am officially 30 years old. I prefer to describe it as the first anniversary of my 29th birthday. But however you slice it, I am three decades old.
Hitting these kind of milestones make you reflect on what you have done so far in your life, and where you are going from here.
I know that I am so blessed to have my wonderful hubby who is on this amazing ride with me. Who would have thought that God would entrust me with these three awesome kids!
I still have questions though.
Am I doing everything that God has called me to, or have I settled into a rut?
Is God pleased with my life so far?
What does the future hold for me and my family?
This is a big one since we have just relocated to the Denver area, and started a whole new journey together.
God's question back to me is "Will you trust me?"
My answer is "Yes God, I will trust you."
"You have never left me or hurt me. You are my Father, and I am Your child. You know what is best for me, and You have a divine purpose for my life. You are never changing, the same yesterday, today, and forever. Always faithful and loving. I will follow wherever You lead me. I put all my trust in You."
It is a vulnerable place to be. Yet, I know it is the safest place I can be.
On a different note. My sweet hubby totally surprised me with a sweet birthday gift.
The only proof you can see is around my neck. The reason being the real thing is taking the picture. That is right. He got me a new camera. A Canon Rebel XS. I was so surprised. I have wanted one forever, and was totally not expecting it. Aren't those the best kind of gifts?
Now I have no excuses for not posting lots and lots of pics. So expect more, and I will do my very best to deliver. Now I just have to learn how to use it. :)
My verse for this season in my life is Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
