Thankful Thursday!

Today I am thankful for Our Winter Wonder Land! It has been snowing here for three days now, and it isn't going to stop anytime soon. The girls have fun playing in it, but Sean is not quite sure what to make of it yet.

I am thankful for a Dad- in- law who plows our drive with his ATV.

I am thankful for time with my sweet kids. I have gotten a lot of that this week:) This weekend we have been invited to go on a horse drawn sleigh ride. FUN! There is tons to be thankful for!

Girls have cooties!

Last week we took a trip to the library. While the girls were browsing for books, Sean and I sat down near the toy center to look at some puppets.
There was a little girl there who spied Sean and came over to make a friend. She was around 13 months old, and very outgoing. She was trying to share toys and smiles, while Sean was not so sure he wanted all that attention. He kept on looking up at me as if to ask what does she want?
About that time she cornered him into a bean bag and planted a wet one on him. By this time he was crying. We think that he is just so cute, the girls can't resist him, But he still thinks that girls have cooties.

Thankful Thursday!

Today I am thankful for fun with family and friends. We got to take our family skiing today at Hesperus Ski Area, which is a great local ski hill near our home.

Skiing can get really pricey, but thanks to a homeschool ski program we were able to get everyone on the mountain for an amazing deal.

I am thankful for Gods provision in allowing us to give our children opportunities. And for wonderful homeschool friends to spend the day with also.

I am thankful for a new year. I believe 2010 is going to be an awesome year for our family. Last year had a lot of hardships for us, and we are looking ahead and leaving the past behind. Thank you Jesus!
